I painted an area for three mountains, each of different color values to give depth to the painting. Libby was instructed to paint each of the areas using the colors on her pallet. I walked Libby through how to make a tree line just by dabbing some paint. To complete the work for the day, I helped Libby paint the base layer for two wood posts.

We played with several different instruments and talked about making sounds on the guitar. We played some rhythms with rhythm sticks, and played on the drums.

Libby was given a piece of paper to create a custom design. Once Libby completed her design I worked with her to create a paper airplane.

We played some basic rhythms on the drum set, and played some songs on the piano and electric keyboard. We used musical symbol flash cards to learn about quarter notes, quarter rests, half notes, and half rests. We worked on counting and clapping different beats. We arranged the cards into some different rhythmic patterns and counted and clapped them.
