We began by singing a "Hello Song," and then sang a few Christmas carols. We then played some copycat rhythms on the hand drums and rhythm sticks. We made up a song - while I played the guitar, Teddy played along on the drum and Libby made up the lyrics and played the jingle bells. We spent some time playing with the electric keyboard. We sang a "Goodbye Song" and ended class.

Great class, they were both very attentive, Libby more so than teddy. But his discipline is improving.
We talked about counting to 4 and playing the different beats on the hand drums. We also did a creative movement exercise by shaking shakers and singing "The Shaking Song." We played with the electric keyboard, and played some rhythms to the songs in the song bank.
Libby was given two color sheets and shapes to cut out. As we cut out the shapes we reviewed the name of each shape. I worked with Libby to glue all of the parts together.
