Libby and Teddy worked together on different fitness activities.
We started with a 3-lap run on the perimeter of the field.
We came back to the pavilion and did a series of different exercises, including:
planks, burpees, bar hang, sit ups and push ups.
We will continue with these exercises for the next couple of weeks.
Today's lesson focused on how to use tools to subtract numbers. We discussed how the number line, counters, connecting cubes, and quick pictures have been used over the last few weeks to help solve subtraction problems. Then, Libby listened to stories, determined which tool she wanted to use, and wrote equations to find differences. Finally, Libby spent time online sorting coins and bills into the correct piggy banks.
