Libby worked on the final lesson of the unit on understanding addition. Today's lesson focused on adding numbers together by drawing, counting, and writing equations. Libby listened to stories, drew pictures to model what was happening, wrote equations, and found the answers. Then, she completed 10 addition problems with sums up to 5 within 3 minutes. Libby used the remainder of our time online playing a game on recognizing numbers greater than or less than 10 with numbers up to 20.

We played on the drum set and worked on proper drum stick grip, and counting and playing basic quarter note rhythms. We played along to a few songs.

We played some chords on the ukelele and listened to some ukelele songs.
