Libby and I practiced the following yoga poses: balloon breathing, cow and cat, downward dog, star pose, sun salutation, spaghetti pose, sandwich fold over, and leg lift from downward dog. We incorporated controlled breathing with each pose.

I read How the Grinch Stole Christmas and discussed it. Libby watched Christmas Clifford shows. She put together her Pokemon Lego.

Libby was given time to work on a digital drawing of a teddy bear on the iPad.

Libby completed her interactive calendar. She read and discussed her vocabulary words. She put together her daily sentence puzzle. She read a Scholastic News Magazine about the person who accidentally discovered how to make popsicles. She made a popsicle and learned how to turn cranberry juice (a liquid) into a solid.

Libby and I listened to the song Donde Esta Santa Claus?

We discussed what that phrase means.

We cut out a picture of Santa and each time that the singer would say where is Santa in Spanish Libby would move her Santa cutout around an illustrated advent calendar and say Santa esta con... and then say who or what Santa was with and color that portion of the calendar.

She did a good job of moving the Santa and coloring. She seemed to enjoy the illustrations and even asked for an extra copy of the advent so that she could do something with it.
