Review change in peoples lives: Identify how change comes about in peoples lives. Marina did a good job naming how we change and how change effects peoples lives.
Today Stephen and I started Unit 2. This unit focuses on types of communities. Today Stephen and I read a book about rural, urban and suburban communities. Stephen then used this book to answer questions on a worksheet. Stephen then started his community book. He began by drawing a picture of the three types of communities. Stephen then added the definition of each of these communities. Finally, he drew his own community (Tequesta) and determined it was a suburban community.
Today Stephen took his Unit 3 test. This assessment covered everything from map skills, to conservation, to natural resources. He had to fill in his Cardinal and Intermediate directions. He also had to answer matching, fill in the blank and multiple choice questions.
Today Gwendolyn and I began by doing a quick review of her vocabulary words for today's quiz. Gwendolyn then took her lesson 3-3 vocabulary quiz. She answered all 10 questions correctly. Gwendolyn and I then read and discussed lesson 3-3.
