Today Stephen and I began by reading and discussing lesson 6: Needs and Wants. Stephen then completed a needs and wants worksheet. We went on to read and discuss, services, goods, producers and consumers. Stephen completed a worksheet in which he had to identify the goods and services. We finished class by reviewing for his Unit 2 test tomorrow.
Overview of our country's presidents: As we discussed several presidents and government departments, how much information that Marina was already aware of. She responded with an awareness of their existence and basic details. Good class Marina
Baylie participated in President's Day activities with the rest of the student's at the school. First, they did a President's Day craft. After this, they all played a trivia game and worked together to create a venn diagram comparing George Washington to Obama. Next, students were grouped in pairs. Bailey was paired with Ethan. Bailey and Ethan played a President's Day math game three times. Last, students watched a video on Brainpop.com and worked together to take the followup quiz. Bailey did an excellent job with all of these activities!
Yanuell participated in a school-wide Valentine's Day party. He played Valentine's themed games and created crafts with his schoolmates. Yanuell's favorite part of the day was when he won Pin the Dart on the Heart!
