I took Georgia to the bank today to open her first checking account. First we researched the internet to find out which bank offered the best terms for her account. She chose to open the account at Chase because they offered a student account with a low opening balance and no monthly fee while she remained in school. Although it took a little longer than the hour, Georgia was really excited about opening her first account and gaining a little independence as a young adult.
