GT got a 90% on his vocab quiz today. We then looked at a series of photographs of various mutualistic relationships between organisms, and GT did a great job on identifying the ways in which both organisms benefited in many of the examples. He learned about the symbiotic relationship between some shallow-water corals and algae, as well as about the relationship between fungus and algae that forms lichen. He really liked learning about the photosynthesizing sea-slug.
