We solved a definite integral problem five ways: (1) Eyeball estimation; (2)Directly, using an integration formula and the fundamental theorem of calculus, (3) the trapezoidal rule with 4 partitions; (4) the trapezoidal rule with 8 partitions, and (5) using the numerical integration under the "CALC" function of the graphing calculator.
