Used plastic monkeys and frogs to create addition/subtraction problems - used number lines to represent each problem. Discussed the earth - reviewed what it is made of - are these man-made or natural? What happens to natural materials when we discard them? what about manmade materials - how can we help the planet by recycling and re-using materials?
