Ben continued to practice identifying the theme of a passage. We also watched a Khan Academy video teaching how to summarize fiction. We previewed several books to select our next read; Ben choose 'Mrs. Doyle is Out of Control.' He gathered as much information as he could from the cover, title page, and blurb on the back before reading chapters 1&2.
