Letter Recognition/Initial Consonant sound – picking up a picture card Penny had to make the initial sound of the picture and determine which letter it started with, placing the picture on the corresponding letter card.
Sight Words – Penny now has a “Penny Word Ring” – This has the words she is working on. We went through all the words on her ring.
Letter Formation – Penny practiced writing the letters “q” and “y” as well as her name.
