Quinn read book 1 again -he still has difficulty - guesses -jumps all over the page. I read book 5 with him. He was able to read some of the words like 'at' and 'up'. He really tries to sound out the words but he can't seem to keep the sounds in order. Practiced printing first names and began introducing last names. Discussed Cinco de Mayo-meaning of 'fiesta', 'piñata' and sombrero. Discussed why sombreros are good hats to wear in hot sun. Looked at Mexican designs and decorated a picture of a sombrero, Made birthday cards for Ashley.
