After verbally summarizing the story, Jasmine and I continued to co-read the novel, Wish. Topics discussed included the author's use of dialect, idioms, and unfamiliar vocabulary (skittish, skeptical, asphalt.). Jasmine read with excellent prosody and comprehension.
