Kip and I began our session with making a birthday card. Kip then completed fifteen minutes of iReady. We then completed a reading introducing and focusing on informational texts, connecting words and pictures. We then practiced doing so by answering questions relating to the reading. Kip then completed a grammar activity, focusing on contractions. Kip wrote a sentence with the contraction given. We ended our session with religion, reading about Ash Wednesday and answering questions. Following the reading & questions, we then completed a true & false and fill in the blank activity on the facts of Ash Wednesday. We were unable to complete the reading assigned today because of time but we will complete and submit it tomorrow.
