Kip and I began our session with Kip completing fifteen minutes of iReady. I then read aloud a reading, "The Invention that Dogs are Barking About". Kip answered multiple-choice questions and a short-response, focusing on connecting the text and pictures. We continued working on this topic with an additional reading, "The Amazing Canal". Kip did a wonderful job analyzing the picture and relating it to the text. We ended our session with grammar, reviewing for a test next week, working on verbs, contractions, and has, have, and had.
