Math – Kelcy learned to recognize which sides of a rectangle have an equal length and perimeter is the measure around the outside edge. Then we reviewed that area is the number of unit squares needed to cover inside a flat surface. Next he learned to add 2 halves of a square unit to make 1. Then he found the area by adding the half units to the whole unit squares.
Science – We reviewed the vocabulary and concepts for a science test on the unit tomorrow.
