Math – Kelcy discovered how to find the area of an odd shape by breaking it into rectangles and squares and adding the unit squares of each shape to find the sum. Then we reviewed the definition of a unit square which is a square with a side length of one unit. Next we defined a square unit as a unit used to measure areas such as a square inch, square foot, square meter, or square mile. Then he took a practice test to prepare for tomorrow.
Science – Kelcy took the science test on Unit 2. He knew all the answers.
