Kip and I began our session with completing his writing prompt on Easter traditions around the world. Kip did an excellent job referring to his planning sheet which had a list of his traditions and traditions around the world. I then read aloud a religion reading on Easter, pages 258-261, the 'Gathering Prayer' and focusing on the question, 'how is the risen Jesus present in his church?' We then watched a video, 'The Story of Easter - The Beginner's Bible'. We ended our session with an Easter activity, a science experiment observing a chemical reaction with Easter eggs, baking soda, vinegar, glitter, and food coloring.
