Kip and I began our session with submitting completed work from yesterday. Kip completed fifteen minutes of iReady. We took turns reading two fables, "The Fox and the Goat" and "The Wolf and the Crane". We completed a table filling in the characters, plot, and theme of each story and a short response on comparing and contrasting stories. I read aloud a story, introducing new vocabulary words. Kip then identified and defined words in his workbook. We then took turns reading our religion reading on asking for forgiveness in Jesus' name. We ended our session with a grammar activity on adverbs.
