Jasmine and I co-read several chapters of the novel. I presented a writing prompt (Why is Ada so angry?), and together, we brainstormed and then wrote a paragraph. I am impressed with the sophistication of Jasmine's ideas.

A few important notes and questions: Jasmine said she is being held back and attending Rosarian. She hoped to go to Palm Beach Day School, like her cousins, but they are full. She finishes school next Wednesday. Do you want me to continue working with her? Finally, if I do, I would love to help her with her summer reading book if she has one. Someone needs to ask her aunt if she plans to continue and if she has summer reading.
