Excellent session! Today Josh started the session by reading the story “Dr. X Finds a Cure” out of the Aliens and UFOs book. We worked on finding the main idea, recalling facts, making inferences and using words precisely. He then completed Lesson 3 in the Mastering Spelling workbook dealing with Words with /oi/. We then moved on to the Word Study workbook and completed Lesson 7 (Review consonant variants and letter combinations: Reading). Next Monday is a holiday, but I look forward to working with Josh again the following Monday, June 4th.
