Reading/Writing - Jack read a story titled,” Wags, Kitcat, and the Rat”. After reading and discussing the story he wrote a journal entry about the story which included the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Math – Adding two, three, and four numbers - Using playing cards we played a game where we each placed 2 cards down from our pile, added them, and the one with the higher number won the cards. In the event of a tie, we had to place a second, three, and at times, four cards down and add them to see who had the higher number.
