Reading/Writing - Jack read a book titled, “The Tan Cat and the Fat Cat”. After reading and discussing the story he wrote a journal entry about the story, which included the beginning, middle and end of the story events.
Math - Addition – Using playing cards we played a game where we each placed 2 cards down on the table, added them, and the person with the greater sum/total won the cards. In the event of a tie, players placed 2 more cards down, added all four cards to see whose sum was greater. The person with the greater total won all the cards.
Science - Mass – Using a balance scale Jack compared the mass of two objects. After which he estimated the mass.
