Without prompting, Spencer took out his homework folder, looked at the assignments and chose the order he wanted to complete the tasks. We reviewed a passage he read earlier before writing answers to questions related to characters, problem and solution of the text. Spencer did well comparing and ordering multi-digit numbers. He enjoyed a drawing and writing activity that involved making a picture using given lines and shapes and then writing a description of the picture. Spencer benefited from reminders to use capitalization and end punctuation. Spencer worked well, moving from assignment to assignment until he completed his homework.
