Spencer took his time and worked carefully on his prewriting handwriting skills practice. He read, 'The Lost Duck', a book he brought from home. Spencer was pleased with how well he read the text. He wrote a sentence about the beginning, middle and end of the story. Capitalization and end punctuation were encouraged. Spencer quickly, confidently and accurately multiplied single digits by 10. Spencer asked to research the crocodile fish to see if it was real and how it moved and camouflaged itself in the ocean.
