Richard was in a great mood and very excited about Halloween. Using that excitement, we created a "Wizard's/Witch's Brew" while practicing our multisyllabic words. He thought it was funny, but to motivate him to NOT leave off any sounds in the middle or end of words, we decided that we would add an additional bug to the Brew for every sound left off. Using stickers and a fun laboratory graphic we created the brew. We also used our sequencing, planning, and describing skills to plan an actual edible Brew to create the following week. He helped pick out the "disgusting" (challenging word for him to say) ingredients on Amazon. Great session!
