Xavier was reading a short story by Ray Bradbury, "The Veldt." We co-read the second half of the story, pausing to answer short answer comprehension questions. Xavier read well. We were both struck by how prescient the tale was, predicting the perils of technology that we are experiencing today. As always, I enjoyed Xavier's insightful and humorous commentary!
