Rachel is in 9th grade at the Benjamin School and today was our first tutorial session. Rachel explained that she wanted to focus solely on history today. She had an assignment where students had to answer questions about the causes of WWI. As we discussed the responses to the questions, it was obvious that Rachel has a good foundational grasp about the causes to this tragic, very complex, first modern, mechanized war of the 20th century. As we worked, Rachel wrote answers that were strong, succinct. What a pleasure to meet and work with Rachel today!
