2)Oral Quiz on the Wife of Bath's Tale: What is the subject of the tale? Is the tale's content consistent with the woman's character as revealed in the Prologue and the General Prologue?
3) Discuss the Wife of Bath's Tale: Video of Tale for Clarity. Discussion Questions: What is the moral of the W.O.B'S story? Do you believe that women today desire sovereignty over men? Why/why not? What is particularly heinous about the crime that the Knight committed? Why is a woman only worth as much as her marital prospects? In the end, does the Knight let his wife make her own decisions out of charity or desperation?
