Lesson Outline
I attempted to discuss the meaning of perspective in art with Spencer, and showed him a drawing made by one of the students at Batt that beautifully illustrated the point. I also pulled up a video explaining One-Point perspective to help him gain a better understanding of vanishing points; however Spencer wanted to paint. Although our half hour did not permit an adequate window of time within which to do so, the opportunity was arranged with his next teacher.

I was asked to sub for Anna this morning, Friday 4-29-22, from 11:30-12:00. Spencer was resistant to considering any lesson I had planned and started to pretend to hide in his room. When I showed no interest in indulging him when he displayed combative and non-compliant behaviors, he followed me to the library and waited till recess. I told him he could go out as it was time for recess, he said t want to go out as he had a time-out from Pat, but when asked, Pat did not recall this consequence. Despite being told this, Spencer chose to remain on the couch insisting "what's the point of going outside if I can't play?"
