Richard was in good spirits -still talking about his birthday festivities. He agreed to tackle the hard activities first so we could go outside and practice our speech while on a nature scavenger hunt. We read a book about an astronaut who swallowed the moon and it included new vocabulary. Richard asked good questions and remembered facts from the book when we summarized it at the end. Richard's language and communication skills have improved and he shows more confidence as a communicator.
