Excellent Session!
Today we started the session on page 25 of the “Florida Reading Grade 10” book and worked through page 38. The skills taught and tested were determining the meaning of unknown words (through context clues, synonyms, antonyms and multiple-meaning words) and main idea (through inferring, paraphrasing, summarizing, and identifying relevant details). We ended the session in the “Monsters” book. Josh selected the story “Werewolves”. He read and answered all the comprehension questions for this story. We went over and discussed all the answers. I look forward to working with josh again on Wednesday!
