Noelle and I began with multiplication and division review problems. She completed a 4-digit by 3-digit multiplication problem and division with a 3-digit dividend and 2-digit divisor. Noelle did well remembering the steps and felt confident to move on to fractions. Today's focus was on proper, improper, and mixed fractions which were all modeled with number lines and quick pictures. Then, the steps to interchange improper and mixed fractions were discussed with correlating problems completed together.
