Noelle and I continued to work with fractions. We reviewed how to interchange improper fractions and mixed numbers before Noelle independently completed problems from the fraction packet that was sent to her. Then, we discussed how to find equivalent fractions in higher terms using multiplication. She also found the lowest common denominator of two fractions by listing the multiples for each denominator and finding the lowest multiple that they both had in common. Noelle rewrote fractions as equivalent fractions in higher terms and found the LCD to make equivalent fractions. She was given similar problems to complete tonight which will be reviewed tomorrow.
