• Josh worked on understanding material that he read.
• We reviewed the 9th grade curriculum section of the textbook. He was able to answer most of the questions but had some trouble with the vocabulary words. However, he did use context clues to help him.
• I emphasized how to “steal the words from the questions”
• Josh read out loud, even though I asked him to read silently. I think that it was much easier for him to answer the questions after reading out loud.
• Josh is a hard worker and never complained about doing his work.
