Billy did do some work on the biology assignments he should have done last week, but only after he found out they were due today and was given a two day extension to get them done. He has the potential to do well in school, but he needs to learn how to be a student. He's not done anything I've asked him to do in terms of organizing his assignments and checking in with his teachers, and consequently, things are slipping through the cracks. He can get away with it for a while because he's new, but eventually it's not going to work.
