Michael did do the video research I assigned, but on Libya instead of Syria. But when I asked him to tell me about what he'd learned, he again was very limited in the details and had little to no opinion about the issue. This led to a bigger discussion about the importance of details in analysis and communication. He's not a detail oriented guy, but if he wants to be a web designer, the details will be critical. The only thing he seems to be really interested in is professional wrestling, but when I asked him to tell me about the current storylines, he again could provide very little information. This a consistent problem for him, but I am convinced he can improve if he really works at it. So, for homework tonight I'm having him research wrestling and be able to talk about it tomorrow.
