Today Andrew and I continued into our Trig lesson that we started before the spring break. We reviewed the acronym SOHCAHTOA and how we can use it to set up the ratios for sine, cosine, and tangent. We practiced, given a triangle, how to find the trig ratios of each angle. Then we discussed the concept of inverse. Andrew recalled inverses undo each other like addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, sine/sine inverse. We then used the inverse trig functions to solve for the missing angle. These problems were a bit tricky at first so we will continue with this tomorrow.
