Today Andrew and I began to prepare for a Quiz he will have on Thursday. We worked on the trig functions sine, cosine, and tangent. Given the sides of a triangle, Andrew was first asked to find the trig ratios. Then Andrew was given problems where he had to first determine which trig function was being implied, then he had to set up an equation, then solve for the missing side length. These problems were difficult for Andrew and he needed a lot of guidance. Next we practiced using our calculator to solve for the missing angle given the side lengths.
