Today Andrew and I started a new section on arc length and area. I realized that Andrew has no prior knowledge of radians so we started with a lesson on that. I showed Andrew that radians are a different way to measure angles (like feet, centimeters, etc. are different ways to measure length). I showed Andrew how to convert degrees to radians by using the proportion pi/180 and cross multiplying. I did an example for Andrew and then had him try them himself. We will get more practice with this tomorrow.
