We continued to read and gain insight into the characters. We agreed that Dally is characterized as having a rebellious nature and disregard for authority, which is what makes him 'fit' the role of an edgy and nonconformist character. Sodapop, in contrast, is depicted as more laid-back, less anxious and more harmonious in nature. Cam sustained interest and responded to queries correctly; prompts facilitated his recall of why Dally looked sick in the chapter as the plot unfolded.
