Understanding there, their, and they're by definitions, correct word in context, use of mnemonic devices to remember which form to use and edit sentences for correct word choice. First, we discussed the definitions and meanings of each form of the word. Then, we explored mnemonic methods including the "i" in their shows someone owns it, here in the word there to show location, and the apostrophe indicating a contraction. After that, we worked through guided practice in which I read the sentence, and Cameron determined which form of the word matches the context. Lastly, Cameron created sentences using each form of the word correctly.
