Maya and I completed our common and proper noun project today! We labeled our people with common nouns and their corresponding proper noun (girl-Maya). Then I made a t-chart in her notebook with a common or proper noun and she had to determine the corresponding noun. We read Little Red Riding Hood alternating paragraphs and identifying nouns. We then played I'm Thinking... to discuss the story elements and review common and proper nouns. Lastly, Maya worked on her p page in her cursive book. She formed her lower case p's very well:)
