Lesson Outline
Maya began the day reluctant to edit. After less than 5 minutes she was ready to work. She independently identified words that were incorrectly spelled with a highlighter. Then she used a different color to identify capitalization mistakes. The I helped her fix spelling errors and add a few more details. She was so excited about her work she read it to Miss Dee. Then she asked if we could have another celebration. We will share her writing on February 26th. Lastly we read a fable from Level M Aesop's Fables from RaZ Kids. We will discuss and read more fables throughout this week and next.
