Today Brad made eye contact 9 times throughout session. He displayed self-stim behavior 5 times and required several prompts to use 'quiet hands' each time. He only required redirection one time while we worked on presented tasks. He was receptive to reminders for good listening skills (sitting up straight in chair, etc). He was unable to answer questions about yesterday's social story (Saying Hi). He did a nice job identifying emotions in pictures as a review from a few days ago. We talked about asking and answering questions, with a focus on 'who' questions. He successfully answered several 'who' questions based on presented handouts. He did answer 60% of presented verbal questions today (up from yesterday's 50%). I had a brief conversation with his nanny, Mary. She said she would bring the notes from his previous speech pathologist tomorrow.
