Today, Cal and I reviewed Simple and Complex Subjects, Simple and Complex Predicates, and Compound nouns and verbs. We also reviewed Simple Sentences and Compound Sentences. Call remembered some of the topics, but it was still good for him to review these basics. At the end of class we talked about Interrogative, Exclamatory, Declarative, and Imperative sentences. This was new for him. We discussed why it is important to use different tones in one's writing. Cal wrote an example for each of these types of sentences. For homework, he will write a short paragraph using these four different types of sentences.
