I demonstrated how to perform long division with two polynomials as Kayla took notes. Next, I worked the same problem, but using synthetic division in order to demonstrate the ease of synthetic division when compared with long division. After that, we used a given zero of the function to reduce the polynomial using synthetic division. Finally, we reviewed how to find the remaining zeros of the function by factoring the reduced polynomial and solving for x.
