Today we began by Chase correcting the grammar and punctuation mistakes in the paragraph written on the board. Then, Chase and I reviewed nouns by completing a "Monster Chomping Noun" activity packet. This packet consisted of a worksheet where Chase had to read the sentence and find the noun or nouns in the sentence writing them in the monster's mouth. Also, Chase had to find ten nouns that were hidden on the worksheet and then write them in the monger's mouth. Lastly, he had to make his own monster and come up with his own sentences circling each noun. He did a wonderful job on this packet. During math, Chase began by completing a multiplication worksheet practicing the ones. After, Chase was introduced to multiplying by twos and completing a multiplication word puzzle practicing multiplying by two.
